Vermont Governor’s
Council on Physical Fitness and Sports
Jointly produced educational materials about “Sharing the Road” with bicyclists and pedestrians, and about the value of walking and bicycling to Vermont. They have also assisted with organizational development.
Green Mountain Bicycle Club
Assists with legal advice around bicyclists’ rights to the road, and
in producing a publication “What to do if you are Hit by a Car”.
The GMBC also supports the Coalition over and above a typical affiliate
club, by contributing $2 per member household.
Local Motion
Provides low-cost office space to the Coalition, and collaborates on
advocacy and educational initiatives within the greater Burlington
and Grand Isle areas.
Vermont Sports Today
This free statewide newsmagazine dedicated to individual aerobic sports,
publishes our monthly column on bicycle advocacy and education.
National Park Service Rivers & Trails Program
Assisting with our work to develop, update, and publish a database
of bicycle & pedestrian organizations across the state.
Vermont SAFE KIDS
Jointly developing a statewide curriculum and trainings for bicycle
safety courses (formerly known as "bicycle rodeos").
Agency
of Transportation, Bicycle & Pedestrian Program
Collaborating on bicycle safety education in Vermont schools.
